Equine Excursions to choose from

LaSal Oasis Loop

On this trail your will experience part of the Old Spanish Trail. Riding in parts that were traveled by the Spanish settlers in the early 1900’s. The harsh desert magically turns into a welcoming oasis in a one & a half hour ride. We often spot deer, water foul, and other wildlife.

LaSal is high desert making this ride available for morning or evenings year round. A more manageable time in the saddle for young riders, and those that may find the saddle uncomfortable while still getting every bit of the best experience.

7 Mile Equestrian Canyon

On this equine excursion my guests are often transported to a new world that leaves them thirsting for more. This trail flirts with seclusion all while peacocking it’s beauty. The desolate canyon holds many secrets from early Native Americans that none of us will ever truly know the answer too. While experiencing such mysteries, you will be accompanied by the most beautiful animal of the west. Expect a 2 hour 15 minute journey.

 Cameo Cliffs

This trail tangles with high desert and boundless views. Allowing rider & horse to cross a sea of tall grass and sage, arriving at a unique sandstone tinaja. This allows the guests a break from the saddle and opportunity to do some exploring. Have the option to enjoy a drink at the picnic table, or scurry the sand stone, climb the ladder, and be rewarded with humbling sights. After taking it all in we will slide back into the saddle and follow the mountain home. This makes for an ideal sunset ride, and is family friendly.

Expect this to be a 3 hour adventure, and is highly recommended for young riders.
